More specific: 'What should we do with the controversial Leopold II monument?'
2 years ago I already gave a (somewhat provocative) answer to that question.
In respons to 60 years of Congo's independence I made a poster for a fictitious event.
The Ostend Mondiaal department had noticed this personal project.
They asked me to create a campaign image taking into account the sensitivities.
I suggested 'Erf Goed?’ as title (Erfgoed = Heritage / Goed = Good, fair).
As a question, an invitation to a debate.

Meer concreet: 'Wat moeten we doen met het omstreden Leopold II monument?'
2 jaar geleden gaf ik al een (wat provocerend) antwoord op die vraag.
Naar aanleiding van 60 jaar onafhankelijkheid van Congo maakte ik een affiche voor een fictief event.
Dit persoonlijk project was opgevallen bij de dienst Oostende Mondiaal.
Ze vroegen of ik een campagnebeeld wilde maken rekening houdend met de gevoeligheden.
Ik stelde ‘Erf Goed?’ voor als titel.
Als een vraag, een uitnodiging voor een debat.
Het ‘uitgeknipt’ silhouet als blinde vlek.
